Initial Altitude On Clearance Delivery Instructions

Sun Jun 11, 2017 8:06 am

Yesterday I went through the training center then took the Clearance Delivery Written Exam and I got incorrect the initial altitudes when climbing via a SID. It was my understanding that you would always tell the pilot to "climb via SID except maintain five thousand" when no top altitude is posted. If anyone could give a brief explanation on what the initial altitude should be and how to find it, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Hello,

The Initial Altitude Assignments SOP has all of the correct initial altitude assignments on SIDs.
