Welcome to the ZLA VFR Flying Club!

With the enthusiasm and spirit that Wayne Conrad has put into it, his "Scottsdale to Kern Valley" thread was turning into a mini forum, so the ZLA staff has created this forum especially for you pilots to organize flights, or just good old hangar talk!

Hehe! With my 'wooden' computer and frame rates that rival a slide show, I would probably get suspended from VATSIM for crashing into everything, pausing, and appearing to be some ner'do well! Thanks for the offer though!

GH, Great idea!

I nominate this text for a sticky: (I edited Waynes post a little...hope its ok)
Plan a trip, set a date and time, and fly with whoever shows up. The most important thing is to make it a journey that you are interested in. If nobody shows up, you'll still have fun flying it. And if someone does show up, you'll have even more fun flying it. The more fun you have, the more fun the people flying with you will have.

"If you plan it, they will come."

Just a few of the reasons:

1. You won't be limited by my imagination when picking a theme.
2. We'll get to see different styles of flight planning. That doesn't mean you have to have a rigorous flight plan, by the way.
3. I'll get to follow someone else. :)

If you have a grand journey in mind, the flights that make up the trips of the journey should each be interesting in their own right.
