VFR Departures

Thu Aug 20, 2009 6:32 pm

I'm not sure who to contact in this situation:
When requesting a VFR departure, are you supposed to contact Delivery or Ground?

Thanks for any help

Ground. I think some airports may do things differently in the real world, but mainly you call ground. On VATSIM, always contact Ground.

For VATSIM: contact ground.

IRL, heres my rules of thumb.

Class D - Ground
Class C - Delivery
Class B - Delivery
