It's a tool that allows you to "control" your flight on your flight simulator of choice (X-plane, fs9, etc) through your Apple device. For example, if you wanted to fly KJFK-EGLL, but you didn't want to sit at the computer for 8 hours, this allows you to monitor your flight away from your computer.

Hey all, I'm not sure if you heard, but earlier today an 8.9 magnitude earthquake hit Japan. It was one of the largest if not the largest earthquake ever to hit Japan. Unfortunately, my dad was on the way to Narita for his flight back home to Chicago after a business trip. They shut down the airport...
