*gasp* Xplane in the running in a s/shot comp

Mon Dec 01, 2008 10:30 am

Every now and then, I submit an xplane pic for consideration in the monthly screenshot competition in the VATSIM forum. I'm fairly, and soundly beaten each month by FSX and FS9 shots, usually involving beautiful aircraft models and/or terminal scenery.

November, however, was military month. Xplane's stock Grand Canyon scenery held up very well against the MSFS competition. It would be great to see xplane win just ONE of these :)

If you have time, check out this thread and vote as you see fit: http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?t=35546

At the time of posting, there were 6, 35 and 12 votes, accordingly.

The reason you are winning is because you've got more junk on your hardpoints.

So to speak.

I'm no judge, but I like these qualities:

Fantastic widescreen . . . super resolution . . . great angle . . . and an awesome bird.

Got my vote!
